The Hurricane Simulator - built by Doron Precision Systems and available to lease from First Force Leasing, part of the Smiling Lion group - replicates the experience of being caught in a Category 1 hurricane.

Accommodating 2-4 people at £2 per ride, it provides a one minute integrated audio/visual encounter with wind speeds of up to 78mph.

Ideally suited for shopping centres, amusement arcades, hallways, cinemas, museums/science centres, zoos/aquaria and FECs, it's an unattended, freestanding attraction which can be installed with its rear against a wall or with one side against a column.

Beatbox is a new coin-operated, cabinet-based system where users can make a video of themselves singing from a list of top hits - updated monthly - from across the world.

On-screen instructions are provided, along with time for a rehearsal.

A copy of the result can then be downloaded to a mobile phone for sharing with friends, as well as being burned to a CD with its own customised greetings card.
