The tennis facilities at Manor House in West Devon have been extended to include five indoor and five outdoor courts, all of which benefit from an all-weather Playrite Matchplay 2 sand-dressed tennis surface.
Offering high performance and durability, the tennis court surface adheres to International Tennis Federation (ITF)
Category 2 Medium Slow standards and offers a built-in cushion layer, which provides less stress to players’ joints. Permanent inlaid lines in white, yellow, red and blue can also be added to the surface, which reduces the need for regular line painting maintenance.
The Manor House offers a large range of sports, crafts and leisure facilities and hotel marketing manager, Barry Madge says tennis is a particular draw for guests and club members. Organised tennis courses and competitions are organised throughout the week, the with help from a fully-qualified Lawn Tennis Association coach and according to Madge player feedback on the quality of the surface has been very positive.
